Gather Your Materials: Before you start using rubbl sand, you'll need a few materials. You’ll need pebbles, of course, as well as a container to keep them in, a trowel, a shovel, and a rake. You may also need some garden fabric, landscape fabric, sand, or gravel, depending on your project. 

Prepare the Area:  Before laying down the pebbles, you’ll need to prepare the area. If you’re working with a garden bed, remove any plants and weeds, then use a trowel to loosen the soil. If you’re working with a hard surface, such as a patio or walkway, you may need to use a shovel and rake to remove any excess debris. 

Lay the Pebbles:  Once the area is prepped, you can start laying the pebbles. Begin by laying down a layer of landscape fabric or garden fabric, then spread the pebbles evenly over the fabric. 

Secure the Pebbles:  Once the pebbles are laid, you’ll need to secure them in place. If you’re working with a garden bed, you can use sand or gravel to help keep the pebbles in place.
